1. Acceptance

By accessing or using 8af.echoes.news (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. The Site is operated by The Curated Quill LLC, publisher of Echoes of the Mighty Eighth, a Plume & Parchment publication.

2. Use of the Site

The Site is provided to share the work of Echoes of the Mighty Eighth and to let you subscribe, make dedications, and support the publication. You agree not to misuse the Site, attempt to disrupt it, access it through unauthorized means, or use it in violation of applicable law. The Site does not offer user accounts and does not accept user-uploaded content.

3. Intellectual property

The Site’s content, design, retold stories, audio, and marks are owned by The Curated Quill LLC or its licensors and are protected by law. You may view and share links to the Site, but you may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without permission, except as allowed by fair use. The Eighth Air Force insignia is a work of the U.S. government, used to identify the subject; Echoes of the Mighty Eighth is not affiliated with the United States Air Force, the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force, or the 8th Air Force Historical Society.

4. Contributions, tributes, and sponsorships

The Site invites voluntary contributions in support of the publication — including dedications and tributes, Tailwind contributions, and book or season sponsorships. These are dedications and sponsorships in support of the work, not the purchase of goods. Payments are collected and processed by our third-party provider, HighLevel / LeadConnector, under its own terms and privacy policy; we do not store full payment-card details. By contributing, you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method.

Registrations and purchases may be changed or cancelled for a refund up to three (3) days after purchase. After three days, they are non-refundable and non-cancellable. This applies to tributes, Tailwind contributions, and book or season sponsorships.

5. Third-party links and embeds

The Site links to and embeds third-party content (including HighLevel forms and YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Transistor players). We are not responsible for third-party content or practices, and your use of them is governed by their terms and privacy policies.

6. No professional advice; no warranty

Content on the Site is for general information and remembrance only. The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Curated Quill LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or from any contribution made through it.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision.

9. Governing law

These Terms and all contractual relations with The Curated Quill LLC are governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
