The Curated Quill LLC is committed to making 8af.echoes.news, the website of Echoes of the Mighty Eighth, accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.

Conformance target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

What we’ve done

• Text alternatives for meaningful images.
• Keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator and a “skip to content” link.
• Labeled form controls and clear link text.
• A logical heading structure and semantic landmarks.
• A cookie banner operable by keyboard and screen reader.
• Reduced-motion support: scroll and accordion animations are disabled when your system requests reduced motion.

Known limitations

• Some embedded third-party content — the HighLevel contribution forms and the YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Transistor players — is outside our direct control, and its accessibility depends on the provider.
• We are reviewing color contrast on some accent text and will address any combination that does not meet AA.
